SKINCARE SUNDAYS WITH: Lorenzo Mattia

MUA and all-round Style Guru Lorenzo Mattia took over our profile for the day to talk all things self-care and skincare saviours (with a little bit of Shakeup). We wanted to know all his male grooming industry secrets and his laid-back lifestyle in South Sardinia.

What is your beauty skincare saviour?

Well, it’s two things… one is a good night serum because it really helps your moisturiser to get deep into your skin cells- you’re going to wake up the next morning with baby skin. The other thing is technique, massaging the face upwards, I swear you’re going to have the highest cheek bones in town.

How do you unwind on a Sunday?

I do love walking by the beach and fortunately I moved back home to South Sardinia so I can go to the beach every season. It’s really nice. A little stroll, a little tan and I’m quite happy. Let’s add in a good meal, a good drink, my partner, my friends, my family and I’m really happy.

Basic things but basic things are the best. Family, friends…me time! The best things.

What’s your favourite go-to weekend breakfast?

I don’t really have a go-to but I do love banana pancakes. I serve them with some coconut Greek yoghurt and agave syrup on top- to get a sugary taste. I love it!

What’s your favourite Shakeup Cosmetics product?

I can’t pick one so I’ll give you two. My favourites are the LIP LIFE TO THE FULL Volumising & Moisturising Lip Gel and LET’S FACE IT BB Tinted Moisturiser. The lip gel gives me volume and moisture. The BB Tinted Moisturiser gives me hydration, protection and colour correction.

These two together are my besties.
